Lucy and Mel, as owners of two separate photographic businesses, have come together to bring you a wedding team with a point of difference. Many couples wish they could go back and relive their wedding day- it’s often a fast-paced schedule with brief encounters with each guest.

The convenience of having two photographers provides you with more photographic moments over a shorter period of time: ultimately leaving you to spend more time with your valued guests and covering more aspects of your special day. You will also have the advantage of two photographic styles and viewpoints combining to create a unique documentary of your wedding.

WILL YOU DIRECT ME?

As professional photographers with experience of being on your side of the lens, we know how intimidating and uncomfortable a photography session can be. Our role is to get the best pictures of you by providing a comfortable and relaxed environment. Part of this process is to provide direction and suggestion to clients to achieve great photos.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

We both have a relaxed, vibrant style and would highly recommend checking out our portfolios.

CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?

It is really important that you feel comfortable and relaxed with us on your special day. We encourage couples to meet us in person or via video chat before booking.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF ME ON THE DAY?

Our aim is that you enjoy every single moment of your day, including the photography, so it’s important that you share your vision for the day with us beforehand and provide us with as much information as possible so that we can tell your story in images that you will treasure. Most importantly though! Have fun, don’t forget to breathe and have a laugh…. you can count on us to have some things to say at the ready to get a giggle and help you relax.

HOW LONG WILL MY PHOTOGRAPHS TAKE TO DELIVER?
We process all photos within a four-week time period from the photography date. In very rare circumstances images may take longer than this. We provide you with a digital “sneak peek” copy of our top-rated images as soon as possible so you can share them with family and friends. You can count on us to communicate wait timeframes for photographs with you. If you are receiving a photo album, delivery timeframes are print and mail supplier dependant. We will communicate all information with you regarding your photography delivery.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

We require a 30% deposit paid to Stories In Light Imagery to secure your booking. The total amount is to be paid in full one month prior to the wedding or elopement date. It’s completely your decision on how you pay, whether that be a set amount on a regular basis or lump sum.

RESCHEDULE & CANCELATION POLICY?
If your elopement or wedding needs to be rescheduled as much notice as possible regarding date and time changes are essential. If we are unavailable to provide our services on the new date or times we will provide you with a full refund less your 30% deposit. If you need to cancel your wedding all together with thirty or more days left, we will provide you with a full refund less your 30% deposit. If you’re cancelling your wedding altogether with less than thirty days notice we will provide a 50% refund.

  • The by the hour package is inclusive of both photographers at the same time. This is a perfect choice for couples with a limited time frame for photographs. Each photographer will provide you with up to 75 images (150 in total) – a beautiful snap shot of your special day. All Images provided to you are edited and in the maximum size available.
  • Digital Images delivered both online and on a keepsake USB

Wedding Photography

  • The half day package is inclusive of both photographers at the same time. This package offers you the choice of what elements of your wedding will be photographed. Each photographer will provide you with up to 300 (600 in total) beautiful images of your special day. All Images provided to you are edited and in the maximum size available.
  • Digital Images delivered both online and on a keepsake USB

Wedding Photography
$3,500
  • The full day package is inclusive of 8 hours of photography by both photographers at the same time. This package offers you the ultimate photographic coverage of all elements of your wedding. Each photographer will provide you with up to 500 (1000 in total) beautiful images of your special day. All Images provided to you are edited and in the maximum size available.
  • Digital images delivered both online and in a keepsake Box on USB and a hand-crafted photo album.
